1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through Sporfia websites, marketplace pages, seller dashboards, customer accounts, checkout experiences, communications, and other services that link to this Policy.
Sporfia provides a marketplace through which independent brands and sellers may offer products to customers. Sellers are independent businesses and may separately process information relating to their customers, orders, fulfillment, returns, and legal obligations. A seller's own privacy practices may also apply when that seller independently controls your information.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect information you provide directly, including:
- Your name, email address, telephone number, password, and account preferences.
- Billing, shipping, delivery, and return addresses.
- Order details, purchase history, cart contents, saved products, and communications about an order.
- Messages, support requests, reviews, reports, feedback, and other content you submit.
- Seller application information, business details, store names, brand information, product listings, product images, descriptions, prices, inventory, tax information, and payout-related information.
- Information provided when you participate in promotions, surveys, contests, or marketing activities.
Information collected automatically
When you access Sporfia, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, and general geographic location.
- Pages viewed, links selected, search activity, referral information, session duration, and interaction with marketplace features.
- Cookie identifiers, session identifiers, login activity, security events, and fraud-prevention signals.
- Technical logs, error reports, diagnostics, and performance information.
Information received from others
We may receive information from payment processors, sellers, shipping and delivery providers, authentication providers, fraud-prevention services, analytics providers, and other vendors that help operate the marketplace.
When a seller connects a Stripe account, Stripe may provide Sporfia with information about the connected account, account status, verification status, transaction activity, payouts, disputes, refunds, and other information necessary to provide marketplace and payment services.
3. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure user accounts.
- Operate the marketplace and display stores, products, collections, prices, reviews, and other content.
- Process purchases, facilitate payments, route orders to sellers, and support shipping, fulfillment, returns, refunds, disputes, and customer service.
- Review seller applications and administer seller accounts, subscriptions, commissions, fees, payouts, and marketplace eligibility.
- Communicate about accounts, orders, products, security, policy changes, disputes, support requests, and marketplace updates.
- Detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, unauthorized transactions, abuse, security threats, prohibited activity, and violations of our agreements.
- Personalize marketplace content and improve search, recommendations, products, services, usability, performance, and accessibility.
- Measure traffic, usage, marketing effectiveness, and marketplace performance.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, reporting, recordkeeping, and enforcement obligations.
- Establish, exercise, defend, or resolve legal claims.
4. Payments and Stripe
Sporfia uses Stripe to provide payment processing, seller onboarding, connected-account services, fraud prevention, identity verification, transaction processing, refunds, disputes, and payouts.
When you submit payment or seller onboarding information, that information may be provided directly to Stripe or collected through Stripe-hosted forms. Stripe may collect identifying information, financial information, transaction information, device information, and information necessary to verify identity and comply with financial regulations.
Sporfia does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own servers. Payment credentials are handled by Stripe and its financial partners. Sporfia may receive limited payment information such as the payment method type, card brand, last four digits, transaction identifiers, payment status, refund status, and dispute information.
Stripe processes information under its own agreements and privacy policy. Sellers who connect Stripe must also agree to Stripe's applicable connected-account and services agreements.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Sporfia and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, session storage, software development kits, and similar technologies to:
- Keep users signed in and maintain shopping sessions.
- Remember carts, preferences, and selected stores.
- Protect accounts and detect suspicious activity.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Understand site traffic and improve marketplace performance.
- Measure communications and marketing campaigns.
You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may prevent login, checkout, cart, payment, security, or other essential features from functioning correctly.
Additional information may be provided in our Cookie Policy.
7. Communications
We may send transactional or service-related communications concerning account activity, purchases, seller onboarding, payments, security, support, disputes, policy changes, and other marketplace matters. These communications are necessary to provide the services and may not be subject to marketing opt-out choices.
Where permitted, we may also send promotional communications. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe option included in the message. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional or legally required communications.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the marketplace, provide requested services, maintain business and transaction records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and protect our rights and users.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, the relationship with the user, legal and accounting requirements, the sensitivity of the information, and the purposes for which it was collected.
Closing an account does not necessarily require immediate deletion of all related information. We may retain information where required or permitted for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, safety, enforcement, backup, and legal purposes.
9. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, destruction, or misuse.
No online platform, storage system, transmission method, or security measure can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, using a strong and unique password, and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
10. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:
- Request access to certain personal information.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of certain information.
- Request a copy of certain information in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
- Opt out of certain marketing communications.
- Appeal a decision regarding a privacy request where applicable law provides that right.
These rights are not absolute. We may retain or continue processing information where required or permitted by law, including for transactions, recordkeeping, security, fraud prevention, disputes, legal claims, and enforcement.
To submit a request, email privacy@sporfia.com . We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority and verification information.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Sporfia, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. International users
Sporfia is operated from the United States. If you access the marketplace from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries in which Sporfia or its service providers operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your country. Where required, we will use appropriate legal mechanisms for international transfers.
13. Third-party services and links
Sporfia may contain links to seller websites, social networks, payment services, shipping services, or other third-party websites and applications.
We do not control third parties' privacy, security, or content practices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information processed independently by those third parties. Review their policies before providing information to them.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our marketplace, technology, business practices, legal obligations, or service providers.
When we update this Policy, we will revise the effective date shown at the top. When required by law, we may provide additional notice through the website, account dashboard, email, or another appropriate method.
Your continued use of Sporfia after an updated Policy becomes effective means the updated Policy will apply to information processed after that date, to the extent permitted by law.
