1. Sporfia’s marketplace role
Sporfia operates an online marketplace where independent sellers may offer products to buyers.
Unless a product is expressly identified as being sold directly by Sporfia, Sporfia is not the seller, owner, manufacturer, warehouse operator or shipping carrier for products offered by an independent store.
Buyers purchase from the applicable independent seller. Payments are processed through authorized payment providers, including Stripe, for the benefit of that seller.
Sporfia may provide checkout, order-management, messaging, tracking-display and marketplace technology, but the seller remains responsible for shipping and fulfilling the order.
2. Seller responsibilities
Each seller is responsible for establishing, displaying and honoring accurate shipping terms.
Sellers are responsible for:
- Determining available shipping methods.
- Setting shipping prices.
- Establishing processing times.
- Selecting shipping carriers.
- Identifying available shipping destinations.
- Packaging products appropriately.
- Providing accurate tracking information when tracking is available.
- Shipping orders to the address submitted at checkout.
- Communicating material delays.
- Responding to lost, damaged, missing or incorrectly delivered package reports.
- Complying with carrier, customs and consumer-protection requirements.
Sellers must not advertise shipping services, processing speeds or delivery promises they cannot reasonably fulfill.
3. Seller shipping terms
Shipping policies may differ from one seller to another and may also differ by product, destination or fulfillment method.
Before checkout, a seller may display:
- Standard, expedited or express shipping options.
- Flat-rate shipping.
- Weight-based or destination-based shipping.
- Free shipping when offered.
- Processing-time estimates.
- Estimated delivery windows.
- Domestic or international restrictions.
- Signature or insurance options.
- Product-specific shipping limitations.
The shipping terms displayed during checkout for the applicable seller generally apply to that order.
A seller may not increase the shipping charge after checkout unless the buyer knowingly agrees through an authorized Sporfia process and applicable law permits the change.
4. Processing times
Processing time is the period a seller expects to need before transferring an order to a carrier or fulfillment provider.
Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
Processing may include:
- Confirming payment.
- Verifying inventory.
- Preparing or producing merchandise.
- Personalizing a product.
- Printing a print-on-demand item.
- Inspecting and packaging the order.
- Transferring the order to a fulfillment provider.
Custom, personalized, handmade and print-on-demand products may require longer processing periods.
Sellers should communicate promptly when processing will take materially longer than originally disclosed.
5. Shipping rates and charges
The independent seller determines the shipping amount charged for the order.
Shipping charges may depend on:
- Package weight.
- Package dimensions.
- Shipping destination.
- Selected delivery speed.
- Carrier pricing.
- Product type.
- Insurance or signature requirements.
- Fulfillment-provider charges.
- Customs or international handling requirements.
The shipping amount shown during checkout is paid as part of the buyer’s transaction with the seller.
Sporfia does not establish a universal shipping fee and does not guarantee that one seller’s rates will match another seller’s rates.
6. Delivery estimates
Delivery dates and delivery windows are generally estimates unless a seller expressly provides a legally binding guarantee.
Estimated delivery may be affected by:
- Seller processing time.
- Carrier transit time.
- Weekends and holidays.
- Weather.
- Carrier capacity.
- Address errors.
- Customs review.
- Security inspections.
- Remote delivery locations.
- Events outside the seller’s reasonable control.
A tracking status or estimated date supplied by a carrier may change after shipment.
Buyers should allow for both the seller’s processing time and the carrier’s transit time when estimating the full period between purchase and delivery.
7. Tracking information
Sellers should provide valid tracking information when a tracked service is used.
Tracking information may be displayed through:
- The buyer’s Sporfia order page.
- A shipment notification.
- The applicable shipping carrier.
- A fulfillment provider.
Tracking may not update immediately after a label is created. A carrier may need time to receive, scan and process the package.
Sellers must not upload false, reused, unrelated or misleading tracking numbers.
A shipping label alone does not necessarily confirm that the carrier has possession of the package.
8. Multiple packages and split shipments
A single order may be delivered in more than one package.
Split shipments may occur when:
- Products are stored in different locations.
- Some products are fulfilled by the seller and others by a fulfillment provider.
- Products have different processing times.
- A package must be divided because of size, weight or carrier limitations.
- Print-on-demand products are produced separately.
Each package may have its own carrier, tracking number and delivery date.
Buyers should review all shipment records before reporting that an order is incomplete.
9. Shipping addresses
Buyers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address during checkout.
Buyers should verify:
- Recipient name.
- Street address.
- Apartment, suite or unit number.
- City.
- State, province or region.
- Postal code.
- Country.
- Contact telephone number when required.
Buyers should contact the seller immediately after ordering if an address correction is needed.
Address changes are not guaranteed after processing or shipment begins.
Sellers should ship only to the address associated with the authorized order unless an approved Sporfia process permits a change.
A buyer may be responsible for additional shipping costs when a package is returned because the buyer supplied an incorrect, incomplete or undeliverable address, subject to the seller’s policy and applicable law.
10. Shipping and delivery delays
Sellers should notify buyers of significant processing delays when reasonably possible.
Delays may result from:
- Inventory shortages.
- Production problems.
- Carrier disruptions.
- Weather emergencies.
- Natural disasters.
- Labor disruptions.
- Customs review.
- Holiday volume.
- Incorrect address information.
- Events outside the seller’s reasonable control.
When a seller cannot ship within the represented period, the seller must handle buyer communications, cancellation rights and refund obligations in accordance with applicable law.
11. Lost, damaged, missing or incorrectly delivered packages
Buyers should contact the seller through Sporfia when a package:
- Does not arrive.
- Arrives damaged.
- Contains missing items.
- Appears opened or tampered with.
- Is delivered to the wrong address.
- Is marked delivered but cannot be located.
Buyers should provide available evidence, including:
- Order number.
- Tracking number.
- Photographs of the package and product.
- Photographs of the shipping label.
- Carrier communications.
- A description of the problem.
Buyers should also check:
- Around the delivery location.
- With household members.
- With neighbors.
- With apartment or building management.
- With the carrier.
The seller is responsible for responding to the buyer and working with the carrier or fulfillment provider as appropriate.
Resolution may depend on the circumstances, carrier records, insurance coverage, seller policy and applicable law.
12. International shipping, customs and import charges
Sellers decide whether they offer international shipping and which countries or territories they serve.
International orders may be subject to:
- Customs duties.
- Import taxes.
- Brokerage fees.
- Carrier handling fees.
- Government inspections.
- Product restrictions.
- Longer delivery periods.
Unless the seller clearly states otherwise, the buyer may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes and other charges imposed by the destination country.
Buyers are responsible for confirming that a product may lawfully be imported into their destination.
Sellers must provide accurate customs information and may not intentionally misstate product value, description, origin or contents.
Legitimate customs or carrier charges should be handled through the carrier, government authority or another authorized process. Report suspicious requests for direct payment.
13. Printful and third-party fulfillment providers
Some sellers may use Printful or another fulfillment provider to produce, package or ship products.
Use of a fulfillment provider does not transfer the seller’s responsibility to the buyer.
The seller remains responsible for:
- Accurate product and shipping disclosures.
- Monitoring fulfillment status.
- Providing tracking information.
- Communicating delays.
- Responding to damaged, incorrect or missing product reports.
- Handling refunds, replacements or other remedies.
Print-on-demand products may require production time before shipment and may ship separately from other items.
Buyers should communicate with the Sporfia seller through the marketplace and should not contact or send products directly to Printful unless instructed by the seller.
14. Scam and fraud prevention
Never send additional shipping money to a seller through wire transfer, cryptocurrency, gift cards, checks, cash-transfer applications or an outside payment link.
Buyers should be cautious when a seller:
- Requests additional shipping payment after checkout.
- Claims payment must be made outside Sporfia.
- Sends an unfamiliar payment link.
- Requests gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfer or cash.
- Requests a password or verification code.
- Requests full payment-card information through messages.
- Provides tracking that belongs to another order or address.
- Asks the buyer to communicate entirely outside Sporfia.
- Requests customs payment directly to a personal account.
Sellers may not use shipping charges, customs claims, insurance fees or delivery problems as a method of obtaining off-platform payments.
Buyers should report suspicious payment or shipping requests to Sporfia.
Sporfia may be unable to investigate or recover money paid outside the official marketplace payment process.
15. Shipping problems and disputes
Buyers should first contact the seller through the applicable Sporfia order page or marketplace messaging system.
Buyers and sellers should preserve:
- Order confirmations.
- The shipping policy displayed at checkout.
- Tracking records.
- Carrier communications.
- Delivery photographs.
- Package and product photographs.
- Marketplace messages.
- Refund or replacement confirmations.
Sporfia may review marketplace records and request information when assisting with a shipping-related report.
Sporfia may restrict a seller, listing or account when there are credible concerns involving false tracking, repeated nondelivery, shipping fraud, counterfeit goods or other policy violations.
Sporfia’s assistance does not make Sporfia the seller, carrier or insurer and does not automatically require Sporfia to reimburse a transaction from its own funds.
16. Applicable law and consumer rights
Sellers must comply with applicable shipping, advertising, consumer-protection, customs and e-commerce laws.
Nothing in this Policy limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
When a seller’s shipping policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the applicable law controls.
Sellers are responsible for determining which laws and carrier rules apply to their products, customers and shipping destinations.
17. Changes to this Policy
Sporfia may update this Policy to reflect changes in marketplace operations, payment systems, shipping carriers, fulfillment providers, legal requirements or business practices.
The effective date displayed at the top of this page identifies the current version.
Sellers remain responsible for maintaining accurate store-specific shipping policies and product-level shipping information.
18. Contact
Questions about a specific shipment should first be directed to the applicable seller through the order page or official marketplace messaging system.
General marketplace policy questions may be sent to:
